Arts & Minds at Space2 (Quarterly event)

Our next quarterly event is coming up soon—and this time, we’re excited to focus on Space 2, a unique creative hub located behind the old fire station on Chapeltown Road in Gipton, Leeds.  

Space 2 offers studio space, engaging workshops, and support for creatives and artists of all levels. It’s a warm and welcoming place where creativity blooms and community thrives. 

At the event, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in a hands-on creative activity: clay tile printing. We will be foraging plants from the surrounding gardens to use in making the tiles. For anyone with mobility issues, don't worry there will be plenty of plants pre-foraged and ready to use. Since we will be spending some time outdoors, you may want to dress warmly and bring a coat along to the event.

 It’s a chance to express yourself artistically while connecting with other Network members. 

 What to expect from the session: 

• 12:30 to 1pm:  

A warm welcome from Arts & Minds colleagues Sarah, Jane, and Toby 

• 1pm to 1:30pm:  

An informal introduction from Space 2 the service and what they offer 

• 1:30pmto 2:30pm:  

Demonstration and tutorial followed by guided natural tile printing 

• 2:30pm to 3pm:  

Refreshment break 

• 3pm to 4pm:  

Opportunity to continue with tile printing or try out another natural craft activity
