Description
Introduction to Linocut printing
An Arts & Minds event with Leeds Print Workshop
Arts & Minds offers creative and cultural activities that support wellbeing, recovery and connection.
Join Leeds Print Workshop for a relaxed afternoon of linocut printing, where you'll learn a new creative skill and create your own unique artwork to take home.
There'll be light refreshments on arrival, followed by an introduction from the Leeds Print Workshop team before you begin designing, carving and printing your own linocut artwork. This is a welcoming, step-by-step session suitable for anyone interested in giving printmaking a go.
Leeds Print Workshop uses a softer lino that is easier to cut, and all materials and equipment will be provided. Support will be available throughout, and you can take part at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
There is limited on-street parking outside the venue. Alternatively, the nearby Bridge Community Church Conference Centre has a car park and will allow Leeds Print Workshop attendees to park for a small fee.
The workshop takes place in the basement of East Street Arts and is accessed via a flight of stairs. A lift is also available.
Due to limited workshop space, this event is being offered as two separate sessions on different days. Please book onto one session only.
