Yoga for wellbeing (health and care staff wellbeing)

Join our inclusive one-hour yoga class suitable for all levels, featuring a meditative breath focus, gentle warm-up, chest-opening movements, and a relaxing check-out meditation to rejuvenate both body and mind.

Description

Welcome to our all-level yoga class. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have previous yoga experience, this class is designed for everyone. You don’t need to be particularly flexible or have any prior knowledge – you're welcome to come and simply lay down and relax for an hour if that’s what you need.

This one-hour sessional yoga practice is specifically linked to the organs of the body. We will begin with a meditative breath focus to centre ourselves. Then, we’ll warm up with some gentle postures before flowing into movements that open the chest and encourage forward folds, for the spine and shoulders. These poses are especially beneficial if you spend long hours hunched over a computer. We’ll conclude the session with a relaxation period, allowing you to fully absorb the benefits of the practice and leave feeling rejuvenated.
