Returning to work after a period of absence can stir up a mix of emotions, and understandably so. Beginning this transition well, and navigating this process can be challenging.

Description

Returning to work after a significant period of time off can be a really worrying time, and evoke a mix of emotions, and understandably so. 

Starting off the return well and beginning this transition back to the workplace can be important to keeping well and staying wellBut it can be hard to know what to ask for or how to communicate your needs. Things may have changed while you have been absent, and you may feel differently. 

  

In this workshop we will: 

  • Think about what your needs are and how you can communicate them on your return. 

  • Explore how to be more compassionate to ourselves in this time of transition. 

  • Consider the changes that may have occurred individually for you, and in your workplace and the support you may require to manage these effectively.  

  

Attending this workshop will allow you to explore these topics to help you prepare to return to work- whatever stage you are at. 

  

This retreat is designed to be a standalone session, which is separate from your workplace or team.  Your attendance is voluntary and not reported back to a manager or any team member. 

This space is dedicated to you, to reflect on your thoughts and feelings and think about how to support your own wellbeing.
